The mighty Limber Pine

The Limber Pine isn’t a common tree but survives within the Crowsnest Pass in southern Alberta despite extreme winds.  It bends to the elements for survival.  Rather significant don’t you think?  We all must be flexible & forgiving to survive right?  I painted this Limber Pine called by the locals, the Burmis Tree.  One of the few watercolors I still have in my home.  Great memories of living in the mountains.
