Making of a Vignette

The process of creating an interesting vignette is easy.  Sometimes you have to think outside the box to make it interesting.  Shop your house – you have more than you think you do.  I pull together things that don’t necessarily “go together”, like this example below.  A wire basket, a couple vintage books, vintage rulers & an antique metal piggy bank.  They have absolutely nothing in common really.  The small glass dome holds an antique glass door knob that was mounted on a piece of wood molding.  The glass dome itself was part of an old clock assembly.  Repurpose at its best.  It’s quick, and when you get tired of it; shop your house some more.  Come Spring/Summer I’ll be adding nautical items into my vignettes.  Have fun with it!!
